Candidate Statements

Candidate for President: Liz Germani, RT84

Liz Germani has been a proud Aramco Brat since 1973 when her family moved to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and then moved to Ras Tanura in 1977. An IT project manager for 27 years, Liz worked at Aramco Services Corporation for three years where she solidified her Aramco contacts and desire to further unify the Brat community. Liz has served on the ABI board for six years – first as a 2015 Houston Reunion Committee Representative and then as Director at Large from 2015-2017. She was the ABI Reunion Oversight Director from 2017-2019 and is currently the ABI President since being elected in 2019. Liz worked relentlessly to (re)organize the 2021 Brat reunion during the Covid pandemic and spearheaded moving the reunion from May 2021 to September 2021 to better accommodate travel restrictions. Liz hopes to continue her tenure as the next ABI President to ensure the spirit of the unique Brat experience continues to thrive – even during a global pandemic!

Candidate for Vice President: Stephanie Arnett Bell DH89

Stephanie Bell is a Dhahran class of ‘89 alumni.  Moving back to America her 9th grade year was a heart breaker but she’s loved how social media and online platforms have kept communicating with old friends an amazing asset to her daily morale.  Stephanie is Executive Director of Pierce County Family Connection, made possible through a grant with DCA, to help squash disparities with the local area through community collaboration. She has six amazing kids and a wonderful husband who serves in Law Enforcement as a Crime Suppression Unit supervisor.  Stephanie’s favorite thing about living in Saudi Arabia was the friendships she developed and the forever family they’ve created.

Candidate for Vice President: Sandra Kerr-Louchard DH84

Sandra has over 20 years of professional expertise in sales, marketing, account management, and brand licensing. She was raised in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and attended Aramco Schools from Kindergarten through the ninth grade. She attended her first Aramco Brat Reunion in Asheville and has not missed one since. It was such an incredible experience to reconnect with old friends that she became a very active Class Rep for DH’84. Since then she has, with the help of many classmates, located several long lost Brats and generated a significant turnout for our class at the past six reunions. She looks forward to having the opportunity to continue to serve the Brat community as part of the ABI Board.

Candidate for Vice President: Cortney Roesch DH04

I arrived in kingdom at age 2 and lived in RT and Dhahran until after 8th grade. Living is Saudi I picked up some basic Arabic, traveled the world, and appreciated various cultures. While in Dhahran I was on the swim team and learned how to gain sponsors, and managed to obtain 13 large companies to sponsor our junior Olympic team. I have always been involved in community volunteer programs, and was the president for the student veteran college chapter at Seminole State College in Florida.

In the Air Force, I acquired extensive leadership skills as one of three open heart surgical technologist deployed to build the first down range vascular surgical program in Afghanistan. Upon retiring from the military, I became a Registered Nurse and am currently in graduate school for my Masters degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. I cherish the experiences I gained from living overseas, and made lifelong friends. Aramco gave me so many opportunities and any chance to contribute to the Aramco Brats program would truly be an honor.

Candidate for Treasurer: Tom Littlejohn DH84

I first joined the ABI Board in 2009 and am currently serving my sixth term as the ABI Treasurer. I truly enjoy serving the ABI membership and would be honored to continue as Treasurer for another term. During my term of service we have evolved ABI’s accounting from simple spreadsheets to a more robust QuickBooks online accounting system, improved online and onsite payments, and boosted investment returns on ABI’s funds. I have over 26 years of experience in the Treasury/Corporate Finance organization of a fortune 500 company. My goal for the next term will be to continue to institute best practices in finance and accounting in serving the ABI membership and to keep ABI financially sustainable for many reunions to come.

Candidate for Secretary: Amber Perkins-Neal DH86

It is with great enthusiasm that I respectfully submit my application to serve as Secretary. I’m a seasoned administrator with expertise implementing and managing programs in a variety of settings including private foundations, nonprofit organizations, higher education, and scientific research. These skills provide me the opportunity to give back to the Brat community that has had a profound impact on my life and to remain better connected to those with similar experiences and background.

In 2015, I was appointed to the AramcoBrats, Inc. Board as Database Director and in 2017 I was elected Secretary. In addition, I am the Class Representative for DH86 and serve on the Nominations Committee and the Reunion Oversight Committee. As Secretary, my goal is to continue to keep Board business organized.
