just found this site today. Its weird to see all the other people who used to live in Saudi, I'd almost forgotten about my time overseas. Im not sure what the year is by everyones name, I'm assuming its the year you were in 9th grade.

My family and I may be moving to Dhahran within the next year or so. I was just wondering if anyone is still there or anyone's parents. Please let me know.

Hello Abqaiq and Yanbu friends, My Dad, Stan Smith, took the family to Abqaiq in 76. I ventured into the Kingdom during vacations and some work as well. I am still searching for Cathy MacMillan of Abqaiq- from Santa Barbara back in the day and her folks from Sun Valley if you have heard where she might be now. Was in touch with Mark Doyle recently. Strange coincidence: my kids are at St Stephen's in Austin where my little brother, Jeff Smith, "Jeef", now "Dr Smith" was an Aramco Brat boarder.

I just returned from the 2009 National Senior Games at Stanford University in Calif. where 10,000 athletes ages 50 and above competed in 25 different sports from Aug. 1st - 9th. I took a 4th place in the 50 yd. breastroke and a 6th place in the 100 yd. breastroke for the 50-54 age group. There were 142 entries and 19 heats in the 50 yd. br. and 17 heats for the 100 yd. br. The next Senior National Games are in Houston, Tx. scheduled for June 2011. I put two photos on the web site for all to see. Best.............Fred.

Hello to all the old Dhahran brats. I am a special education teacher for the emotional disturbed. My husband is also an educator. We have Shelby who is 16 in Sept and Austin who is 13. Would love to go to a reunion. My folks have attended some of the Aramco reunions and say they are a BLAST!
