I hope that Santa makes all your dreams come true. Dad, Barb, and myself just returned from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina over the Thanksgiving Day Holidays. We took in four shows over four days and vacationed ocean side at the Holiday Inn. It was a good break with the NY. Radio City Rockettes Christmas Show being the highlight performance. If you have never seen this show, its a production that I could see every year. It leaves you in awe and breathless. Do try to catch it sometime. Prior to that we were on the SS. Dolphin 4 from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas and Key West for five days taking in Fantasy Fest. in the Keys the end of October. It was a stellar trip with million dollar weather the entire 5 days, good food and entertainment, and an invitation by Captain Demetri (Greek of course) to join him at his table for dinner on the last night. As I knew, Cyndi the reservations manager for Dolphin Cruises I got a comp. upgrade to a suite on board ship which I gave to my Dad. In the Bahamas Barbara and I went parasailing for the first time and put the entire adventure on video. I entered the transvestite contest in honor of Fantasy Fest. and of the nine contestants took third place. I had the best audience applause from what everyone said so I thought I should have won it. Did get a bottle of champagne out of it tho. The SS. Dolphin 4 is one of the best values going for cruises out of Florida. For example their 5 day cruise starts at $449 per person including all port charges. This past June I bought a new COMPAQ Presario computer fully loaded and fast. I already have over 60 that I correspond with and we now have over 400 of us on ARAMCO BRAT CHAT. I am on OBERLIN CHAT as well but I don't know how many are on that. My girlfriend of almost 2 years now, Barbara , who is a computer whiz for First Sierra Financial (FSFH) will be transferring to Houston, Texas by February. I knew the Company would be consolidating Florida and Texas operations but as they have twice as many employees in Florida I thought it would be here in Jupiter, Florida not the other way around. (The big investors in the Co. are all in TX.) We are heading to Houston next week to look for an apartment. I plan to spend half the time between the two states. FSFH stock went IPO in May at $8 per share and we are currently at $20 per share now. Can't complain about that kind of return. Barb may end up returning sooner than she thinks to Florida as I see FSFH getting bought out like their counterpart Mercury Finance did last month by Merrill Lynch. I could see a GreenTree Financial or GE Capital looking hard at FSFH within 2 years. The first week in January, Barbara and I will be visiting my Oberlin College Swim Coach Dick Michaels who brings the team down to Clearwater, Florida from Ohio to winter train. We never did that my years on the team. Times have changed. This is our seventh annual tradition and I even have gotten in the water and challenged one of their top swimmers after a work out. Last year I won for the first time ever. Its a double or nothing alumni financial contribution to the team. The squad stays ocean side at Clearwater Beach and swims at the impressive Long Aquatic Center which is a 50 meter enclosed Olympic size pool. Also for our seventh year, I have Sunday brunch at the Hyatt Oyster Catchers with one of my former Aramco bosses Bob Radford and his wife who are now retired and living in Clearwater. Its a grand time. Clearwater and St. Pete Beaches are one of the best beaches that Florida has to offer. Very very beautiful. I also have to thank the many visitors we had this past year that came to see us. Jim Clark who still works for Aramco in Dhahran, the Dorsch's, Maura Reardon, Bud and Linda Winward now living and working in Italy, Oberlin classmate Charlie Naftalin and hopefully the Hulsharts of Reading, Pa. will try again next year. Last but not least we have a new addition to the family. Her name is Jameela (Arabic for "Oh beautiful one"), she is seven weeks old, blue/ gray with four solid white paws with blue/gray eyes. We took in four shows over four days and vacationed ocean side at the Holiday Inn. It was a good break with the NY. Radio City Rockettes Christmas Show being the highlight performance. If you have never seen this show, its a production that I could see every year. It leaves you in awe and breathless. Do try to catch it sometime. Prior to that we were on the SS. Dolphin 4 from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas and Key West for five days taking in Fantasy Fest. in the Keys the end of October. It was a stellar trip with million dollar weather the entire 5 days, good food and entertainment, and an invitation by Captain Demetri (Greek of course) to join him at his table for dinner on the last night. As I knew, Cyndi the reservations manager for Dolphin Cruises I got a comp. upgrade to a suite on board ship which I gave to my Dad. In the Bahamas Barbara and I went parasailing for the first time and put the entire adventure on video. I entered the transvestite contest in honor of Fantasy Fest. and of the nine contestants took third place. I had the best audience applause from what everyone said so I thought I should have won it. Did get a bottle of champagne out of it tho. The SS. Dolphin 4 is one of the best values going for cruises out of Florida. For example their 5 day cruise starts at $449 per person including all port charges. This past June I bought a new COMPAQ Presario computer fully loaded and fast. I already have over 60 that I correspond with and we now have over 400 of us on ARAMCO BRAT CHAT. I am on OBERLIN CHAT as well but I don't know how many are on that. My girlfriend of almost 2 years now, Barbara , who is a computer whiz for First Sierra Financial (FSFH) will be transferring to Houston, Texas by February. I knew the Company would be consolidating Florida and Texas operations but as they have twice as many employees in Florida I thought it would be here in Jupiter, Florida not the other way around. (The big investors in the Co. are all in TX.) We are heading to Houston next week to look for an apartment. I plan to spend half the time between the two states. FSFH stock went IPO in May at $8 per share and we are currently at $20 per share now. Can't complain about that kind of return. Barb may end up returning sooner than she thinks to Florida as I see FSFH getting bought out like their counterpart Mercury Finance did last month by Merrill Lynch. I could see a GreenTree Financial or GE Capital looking hard at FSFH within 2 years. The first week in January, Barbara and I will be visiting my Oberlin College Swim Coach Dick Michaels who brings the team down to Clearwater, Florida from Ohio to winter train. We never did that my years on the team. Times have changed. This is our seventh annual tradition and I even have gotten in the water and challenged one of their top swimmers after a work out. Last year I won for the first time ever. Its a double or nothing alumni financial contribution to the team. The squad stays ocean side at Clearwater Beach and swims at the impressive Long Aquatic Center which is a 50 meter enclosed Olympic size pool. Also for our seventh year, I have Sunday brunch at the Hyatt Oyster Catchers with one of my former Aramco bosses Bob Radford and his wife who are now retired and living in Clearwater. Its a grand time. Clearwater and St. Pete Beaches are one of the best beaches that Florida has to offer. Very very beautiful. I also have to thank the many visitors we had this past year that came to see us. Jim Clark who still works for Aramco in Dhahran, the Dorsch's, Maura Reardon, Bud and Linda Winward now living and working in Italy, Oberlin classmate Charlie Naftalin and hopefully the Hulsharts of Reading, Pa. will try again next year. Last but not least we have a new addition to the family. Her name is Jameela (Arabic for "Oh beautiful one"), she is seven weeks old, blue/ gray with four solid white paws with blue/gray eyes.
