On March 6, 1938, drilling at Dammam Well #7, at a depth of 1,441 meters, at the geological stratum known as "The Arab Zone," produced commercial quantities of oil for the first time in Saudi Arabia. In March 2009, to mark the 75th anniversary of the occasion, Saudi Aramco sponsored a trip back to the Kingdom, so people could see how much has changed (or stayed the same).
A number of Aramco Brats attended the trip back to Saudi Arabia and have shared their photos for all to enjoy.
