There are many things to do around the Tucson area. Since the Reunion is at the La Paloma Resort, here are a few suggestions:
Golf, tennis, hiking (Sabino Canyon is 4 miles east), fine dining and shopping in the immediate vicinity, shooting (Reddington Pass is 20 minutes away. Right to bear arms State. Hey, you are in the Wild West. . . ), horseback riding, biking (on and off road).
The Pima Air Museum is really good (down by the airport). The Titan Missile silo(s) in Green Valley (50 minutes away). Sahuaro National Park (30 minutes). The Biosphere 2 (40 minutes).
